“I will write on him, the name of my God…and I will also write on him my new name” (Rev. 3.12). “You will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate… for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married” (Isa. 62:2,4).
The words and actions of others may cause you to believe negative things about yourself. You may carry false labels and names. Receive the compassion of Jesus to address this pain. Allow God to wash away anything that He did not author. Receive His healing grace in everything that is out of God’s order.
Your Father blesses you with purity, holiness, and cleansing. He can re-innocence you. He wants to, so let Him. Feel the cleansing of the Living Water washing you and making you whole. Be blessed to be released from condemnation, self-judgment, or self-punishment. You are pure and blameless in His sight. There is no spot or blemish on you.
Be blessed to hear God say “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine” (Isa. 43:1). Your heavenly Father is writing His name on you. Ask Him to give you His new name for you, a term of endearment, or a picture of how He see you. Be blessed to receive His words of life, hope, and goodness that He speaks to you.
Be blessed with new openness to people, to life, and to God. Be blessed with confidence and anticipation of a future filled with hope. You are a beloved child of the King. You have honor, dignity, and worth in Christ. He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun (Ps. 37:6). His power has given you everything you need for life and godliness. He has given you His very great and precious promises (2 Peter 1:3-4). He is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before is glorious presence without fault and with great joy (Jude 24).
