The profound commitment of The Father's Business to make a global impact can be traced back to a pivotal moment in Sylvia's life when she was 11 years old. During that time, she encountered a world map and heard the words, "Go into all the world making disciples." In her mind, the only way to achieve this goal was to become a missionary. However, God had a much bigger vision for her life.

For over 40 years, Sylvia Gunter has dedicated her life to ministry and writing, leaving an indelible mark on lives in over 160 nations. Her legacy continues through Elizabeth and Kimberly, who encourage believers and transform lives across the globe.

The Father's Business continues to impact people on six continents through weekly devotionals and podcasts. Everyone at The Father's Business wants to be a part of God's promise in Isaiah 42:6, "I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations."
